Journalist-scribe Kalaimani no more

Chennai, Mar 7 (UNI) Veteran journalist N V Kalaimani died of heart attack here yesterday.

He was 75.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

Mr Kalaimani had served with several newspapers, including the ''Dravida Naadu'' founded by former Chief Minister Aringar Anna, DMK party's official organ ''Murasoli'', ''Thani Arasu'', ''Thennagam'' and ''Erieeti'' dailies.

He had also authored more than 150 books on literature, arts, politics, Journalism and other subjects. His research paper submitted in the recent World Tamil Conference held in Malaysia won the first prize, according to Mr T S Ravindra Doss State President of Tamil Nadu Union of Journalists.

Mr Ravindra Doss, journalists and the office bearers of the union led by him, placed a wreath on the body of Mr Kalaimani and condoled the family members.
