Do not wind up Bhat Commission, Dharam tells K'taka Govt

Bangalore, Mar 7 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly N Dharam Singh today condemned the State Government's move to wind up the Justice U L Bhat Commission, constituted to inquire into the allegation of Rs 150 crore bribe received by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy from the mining lobby.

Addressing a press conference here, he urged the State Government not to wind up the Commission, but extend all cooperation to it.

Mr Singh alleged that ever since the Commission was constituted, the State Government had not allowed it to function properly.
