Water levels decrease in major reservoirs
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 6 (UNI) Water levels of major reservoirs in Kerala have decreased during the past one week.
According to the figures released by the Central Water Commission for the week ended March five, the water level at Idukki Reservoir decreased from 2360.04 ft to 2357.20 ft, at Idamalayar from 500.03 ft to 495.14 ft and at Kallada from 351.05 to 346.59 ft.
When compared with the water levels recorded during the same period last year, Kallada, Idukki and Idamalayar reservoirs showed a decrease of 18.63 ft, 4.90 ft and 2.76 ft, respectively.
