TDP, TRS selects MLC contestants

Hyderabad, Mar 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) have selected their candidates to contest for the Legislative Council (MLC), to be elected by the State Legislative Assembly members.

The Polit Bureau of the TDP, which met here today selected five candidates, Ibrahim Bin Masketi (Hyderabad) B Narayanara Rao (West Godavari), S Ragahava Rao (Prakasam), M Padmaja (Kurnool) and P Yadagiri (Adilabad).

For TRS, H A Rahman (Hyderabad) and Sudharshan Rao (Ranga Reddy) would file their nominations for the election.
