Hyderabad, Mar 6 (UNI) Congress Legislators from Mahaboobnagar district have expressed their resentment over the non-representation from the district in the selection of candidates for the ensuing elections to the Members of Legislative Council(MLC).

Talking to mediapersons here, Legislators from the district J Krishna, Gurunath Reddy, D K Aruna, Y Krishna Reddy and others said the party had not given due representation to the district in the selection of the candidates which had elected 11 legislators and was backbone of the party in the state.

They said the district was pushed back politically though the Union Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy and Representative of the Andhra Pradesh Government in Delhi M Ravi represented the district.

The MLAs urged the Central Party High command to provide due representation to the district in the council elections.
