Child killed in grenade explosion in Kishtwar

Jammu, Mar 6 (UNI) An eight-year-old boy was killed while a girl was injured in a grenade blast at Chatroo in Kishtwar tehsil of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources today said.

Sajjad Ahmed Wani, 8, was killed and his cousin Rukaya Bano, 6, critically injured when a grenade exploded in their house at Rather Mohalla in village Kucchal yesterday, the sources said.

The injured child was hospitalised with splinter injuries in her ribs.
