BJP suspends 4 rebels for contesting LC polls

Hyderabad, Mar 6 (UNI) The BJP state unit today suspended four rebel party leaders who were contesting the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council (LC) elections.

According to a release here, state BJP President Bandaru Dattatraya said the party had suspended A Shankar Narayana, B Acharya Aditya, P Prabhakar and N Harish Kumar, who were in the fray as BJP rebel candidates for the March 17 LC polls.

The suspended candidates were contesting in Nellore, West Godavari and Medak graduate constitutencies.
