BJP submits chargesheet against HP government
Shimla, Mar 6 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party in Himachal Pradesh today submitted its fourth chargesheet against the state government to Governor V S Kokje, demanding a CBI inquiry into the charges of corruption.
Addressing media here, state party President Jai Ram Thakur alleged corruption in almost all government departments, while levelling specific allegations against some Ministers.
Releasing the copy of chargesheet, he said: ''We have all the documents with us and we will provide them to the probing agency, whenever required''.
The 39-page chargesheet, prepared by the five-member committee of BJP leaders, accused the government of ''having set records on corruption, unemployment and price rise front''.
Mr Thakur threatened the BJP would go to people with all these charges and expose the government's functioning by holding demonstrations at block level .
The chargesheet also pointed fingers at certain officers in the Chief Minister's office for allegedly manipulating the Single Window Clearance Authority to the industries.
