Karnal, Mar 5 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to two persons for pushing a man out of a moving train, leading to his death.

Additional District Judge Satish Ahlawat, while describing the case as 'rarest of the rare', sentenced Manish and Vishal of Ambala to life imprisonment and sent the third co-accused, a minor, to a juvenile jail.

The trio had an argument with Deepak, a resident of Ropar, when he objected to their smoking on board Nangal Dam Express on March 5 last year rpt last year. Finding him alone near the lavatory, they beat him up and pushed him off the train near Bhainikhurd station in Karnal district.

GRPF had registered a case against the trio under Sections 302 and 34 for murdering Deepak.

The judge also imposed a fine of Rs 5000 each on Manish and Vishal.
