Total lunar eclipse across India in early hours
New Delhi, Mar 4: A total eclipse of the Moon, visible from all parts of India, occurred in the early hours today.
A partial eclipse began at 0300 hrs and ended at 0642 hrs with its totality occurring between 0414 hrs and 0528 hrs.
The beginning of the partial phase and the beginning and ending of the total phase of the eclipse was visible from all parts of India.
However, the ending of the partial phase was visible only from the North, North West and Western part of the country.
In the remaining parts of India, the Moon set before the end of the eclipse.
