SHO wounded by criminal

Chhatarpur, MP, Mar 4 (UNI) A Station House Officer was admitted to the district hospital here after sustaining a gunshot wound to the shoulder from a criminal's country-made weapon at this district's Digpura village today, the police said.

Maharajpur SHO Malkhan Singh went to the village to arrest absconding murderer Ajaypal Singh.

The bullet was extracted and the officer stated to be out of danger. Ajaypal was subsequently apprehended. His father and brother are also arrested.
