Pak Maritime personnel detains 12 Indian fishermen

Porbandar, Mar 4: Pakistan Marine Security personnel have detained12 fishermen and seized five boats from them in Arabian Sea off Jakhaoport.

The Pakistani personnel allegedly detained the fishermen, whilethey were sailing in the Indian waters and captured 13 fishermen alongwith five boats yesterday. They, however, released one of them,identified as Kanubhai Bhikhabhai, who returned to Okha Port in anotherboat.

He informed the incident to Custom Officials and Fisheriesdepartment, Gujarat Pradesh Youth Congress Fisheries Chairman ManishLodhari today said.

The three boats belong to fishermen from Mangrol and one each from Veraval and Porbandar, Mr Lodhari added.
