Stray dog attacks four children in Mysore
Mysore, Mar 3 (UNI) After two kids were mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs in Bangalore recently, it was the turn of four children from this city to be attacked and injured by a stray dog, this evening.
Police said the incident occurred when the children were playing on the road in Sunnadakere. Yunias (seven), Preethi (four), Manoj (eight) and Nanjunda (12) were treated at a private hospital here.
Angry residents complained that the stray dogs were frequenting the place to eat the wastes thrown by nearby mutton shops.
Constituency Legislator M K Somasekhar rushed to the spot and asked the Corporation officials to take serious steps immediately to catch the stray dogs. Tension prevailed for some time in the area as people started chasing stray dogs in their area to kill them.
