AP: Maoists blast bridge, traffic struck

Hyderabad, Mar 3: Maoists trigerred a blast on a bridge connecting Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring Chhattisgarh near Rontentha in Khammam district this morning.

Police said vehicular traffic had come to a standstill following the blast.

The Maoists had obstructed construction of the bridge, but the adminstration went ahead with the construction and completed it at the cost of Rs 30 lakh, considering the villagers demand.
