French tourists missing in Ethiopia safe

ADDIS ABABA, Mar 3 (Reuters) A group of French tourists that went missing and was feared kidnapped in a remote part of Ethiopia, has made contact with the tour company that organised their trip, the head of the tour agency said today.

''Seven with whom we lost communication for a while have arrived at Artale Volcano site. They have cut their visit and are expected in Addis Ababa tomorrow,'' Samson Hailu, the head of Origin Ethiopia Tour Agency told Reuters. ''We had communication difficulty and we did not know their whereabouts.
