CD case: Deputy Collector suspended

Hoshangabad, MP, Mar 3 (UNI) A deputy collector, posted at the Collectorate here, was suspended today in connection with a case pertaining to an obscene compact disc (CD), official sources said.

Divisional Commissioner B R Naidu issued the order against Mr R L Bhammani. During the suspension, the officer's headquarters will be Rajgarh.

The CD, beamed on television news channels a couple of days back, showed Mr Bhammani indulging in obscene acts with an unidentified woman. An administrative inquiry is underway.
