Panchaloha idols missing from city temple

Chennai, Mar 2 (UNI) Two Panchaloha idols were reported missing from the Lord Venugopalaswamy temple at the Parry's corner area in the city.

The incident came to light last evening when the main priest opened the temple last evening.

When he started counting the 37 idols kept in the temple, he found two idols of Goddess Bhoodevi and Sridevi, missing.

Temple authorities have lodged a complaint with the North Beach police, who have taken up the investigation.
