Match-fixing: Official declines comment
Indore, Mar 2 (UNI) Amidst a match-fixing dispute regarding the India-West Indies Nagpur one-dayer, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association Joint Secretary Vasu Gangwani has declined to comment further on reports that he owned the cellphone used by all-rounder Marlon Samuels.
Indore-resident Gangwani was the local manager of the visiting team. A television news channel quoted Nagpur Police as saying that the phone belonged to Gangwani.
Initially, Gangwani described the allegations as baseless.
