Badal visits Amarinder's home town
Patiala, Mar 2 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal who assumed office today, visited this town of his predecessor Capt Amarinder Singh.
The SAD chief arrived here late in the evening from Chandigarh.
Before entering the 'Maharaja's' (Capt Singh's) home town he paid obeisance at Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib and Kali Devi mandir.
He also visited the houses of SAD candidates who had lost the assembly elections in this district.
Mr Badal will go to Amritsar tomorrow morning along with his ministerial colleagues for paying obeisance at the Golden Temple and the Durgiana Mandir.
