Fernandes visits Nagaland

Kohima, Mar 1 (UNI) Union Minister and All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Oscar Fernandes visited Tuensang and Dimapur on his way to Imphal from Guwahati yesterday.

Congress sources informed that Mr Fernandes arrived in a private helicopter from Guwahati to Tuensang. Within his brief visit he met the party workers there.

He left Tuensang for Dimapur and attended a party meeting in their District Congress Committee office at Khermahal at around 1345 hours.

Mr Fernandes left Dimapur at around 1500 hours for Imphal.
