Four killed in two separate road accidents
Agartala, Feb 28 (UNI) Four people were killed in two separate road mishaps at Nutan Bazar and Silachari in the state's South district.
A truck carrying four people from Bairagi Doken met with an accident at Bhulanathpara, about 14 km from Nutan Bazar police station. The truck fell into a gorge killing three people on spot.
Four others were seriously injured, police sources said.
The trio were identified as Kaldhan Chakma(35), Man Kumar Chakma(35), Usha Ranjan Tripura(30). More than 32 passengers also sustained injuries. However, they were released after primary treatment.
In another incident, a child (Swarnamala Tripura) from tribal origin, was killed by a speedy bus at Annabandhu para in Silacheri. The incident occurred at about 1000 hours, when the bus was taking a turn.
