Fossils found in MP

Mandsaur, MP, Feb 28 (UNI) Several small-sized fossils have been found while a well was being dug in this district's Pawti village.

''The fossils were found on February 26 at a depth of 35 feet in the well being dug by Shivsingh,'' said Sub-Divisional Officer S S Prajapati.

The state Archaeology Department and Bhanpura-resident Archaeologist Pradyuman Bhatt were alerted.
