Former bureaucrat R S Khanna dead

Bhopal, Feb 28 (UNI) Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Ram Singh Khanna died here yesterday following cardiac problems. He was 76.

An IAS officer of 1955 batch, Mr Khanna held various positions in the state and at the Centre and retired as Chief Secretary in March, 1990.

He is survived by his wife and two sons. His funeral was held at Subhash Nagar crematorium here today.

The Madhya Pradesh IAS Officers Association, in a condolence message, has expressed profound grief on the death of Mr Khanna.
