PM should learn lesson from assembly poll results: Nitish
Patna, Feb 27 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today described the assembly poll results in three states as common man's resentment against the UPA government.
Talking to newsmen here today, Mr Kumar said the common man was facing hardship following the sky-rocketing price of essential commodities and the poll results in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Manipur were the open testimony to this fact.
'' Prime Minister should learn a lesson from the assembly polls,'' Mr Kumar added.
He futher stated that since the Congress came into the power, the price of essential commodities had been rapidly increasing.
The chief minister also said the results of Assembly polls in the three states would have serious repercussions on Uttar Pradesh polls and national politics as well.
He said that though no decision had been taken on alliance with other poltical parties for assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, his party would favour electoral alliance between NDA and Apna Dal.
''I have already conveyed regarding this to BJP president Rajnath Singh and will apprise senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi of the development this evening,'' he added.
