Nepal bus rolls down mountainside, 13 killed
Kathmandu, Feb 27: A bus veered off a mountain road in western Nepal today and crashed into a riverbank, killing at least 13 people, police said.
The accident took place at Kurenghat, 50 km (30 miles) west of Kathmandu. The bus fell 150 metres (490 feet) before crashing into the banks of the Trishuli river.
There were about 45 passengers on board.
''We have recovered 13 bodies from the spot and more than 30 people have been rushed to hospitals,'' a police officer said.
