Infant's body found in garbage dump

Madurai, Feb 27 (UNI) A body of an infant was found in a garbage dump in the city here today.

Police said the body of the two-day-old infant, with the umbilical chord, was found in the garbage dump by a conservancy worker.

The body was recovered and a case was registered, police added.
