Ahmedabad, Feb 27 (UNI) Gujarat Congress Legislature Party will meet Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma today and submit a memorandum urging him not to sign the three bills which were passed in the assembly yesterday.

The Congressmen would also protest against the ''undemocratic'' functioning of the Modi government which passed the bills in a haste without much discussion, Congress whip in the assembly Balwantsinh Rajput told UNI here.

Though originally six Bills were on the agenda, Speaker Mangaldas Patel allowed discussion on only three Bills while the Opposition was demanding more time to discuss the Bills. Instead of the present 27 days, the Assembly session should be extended to at least 45 days and upto 60 days, he added.

The three bills passed yesterday were the Gujarat Municipalities (Amendment) Bill, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Bill and a Bill on Medical Services.
