Cheney in Kabul for talks with Karzai

KABUL, Feb 27 (Reuters) US Vice President Dick Cheney arrived in Kabul on Tuesday for talks with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, following a suicide attack on the US base where he stayed ovenight.

Up to 18 people, including at least one American soldier, died in the blast at Bagram airbase 60 km north of the capital while Cheney was waiting to leave for the talks.
