Tamil Nadu: Mother kills child, ends life

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 26: A woman allegedly committed suicide byconsuming poison after killing her three-year old daughter at Srirangamnear here this morning.

Police said the deceased were identified as Ranjana (25) and her daughter Mohanapriya.

Family problems led her to take the extreme step, police said.

The bodies were taken to government hospital for post mortem.
