Patna, Feb 26 (UNI) Demanding formation of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Commissions, the Opposition today staged a noisy walkout from the Bihar Assembly.

The matter was raised during the Zero Hour by Mr Chhedi Paswan who had been suspended from the ruling JD (U).

''The commissions for SC and ST has not yet been constituted and it seems as if the sections had not voted for the ruling coalition,'' he said. The government had constituted several commissions except the SC/ST commissions, he said demanding a reply from the government.

The entire Opposition openly supported the issue and shouted anti-government slogans.

Intervening, Speaker Udai Narayan Choudhry said the government had taken notice of the information given by Mr Paswan and there was no precedence for giving statement on the issues raised during the Zero hour.

The Opposition members, dissatisfied with the observations of the chair, then staged a noisy walkout.
