Bypolls overshadow MP Budget

Bhopal, Feb 26 (UNI) While presenting Madhya Pradesh's 2007-08 Budget in the Assembly today, state Finance Minister Raghavji today said that new schemes for five districts were not included in the proposals as the electoral process was underway there.

''As per the Election Commission's guidelines, schemes for Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri, Raisen and Sidhi were not included,'' he said.

Gwalior and Sidhi (ST) parliamentary constituencies and Udaypura Assembly seat are to witness bypolls on March 8.
