Meghalaya: Bangladeshi under trial prisoner escapes

Shillong, Feb 26: An Under Trial Prisoner of Bangladeshi origin has escaped from Meghalaya's Tura district jail.

The escapee, identified as Mohammad Robi alias Pandit, of Bangladesh's kharamura village managed to escape yesterday from the jail by crossing the wall in West Garo Hills District, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bikram Marak told UNI
