Tata bags Best Speaciality Coffee Award at IICF

Bangalore, 25: India's major corporate Coffee producer Tata Coffee today bagged the 'Best Specialty Coffee Award' instituted by the Indian Coffee Board.

Union Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh, Dr Nester Osorio, Executive Director, International Coffee Organisation and Coffee Board Chairman G V Krishna Rau felicitated the winners at the India International Coffee Festival, which concluded here.

In the other categories, Jagalikal Estate won the Flavour of India-Fine Cup Competition, while Bhadra Industries Ltd was adjudged the best Arabica estate. Balmundi Estate of Ooty in Tamil Nadu was adjudged the Best Estate.

Regional awards under different categories such as Monsoon Malabar, Pulped Sun dried and Arabica were also distributed.
