India preparing special package for LDCs: Nath
New Delhi, Feb 25 (UNI) India is preparing a special market access package for the least-developed countries (LDCs), which would be announced shortly.
According to Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath, the package for the LDCs has been submitted to the Union Cabinet for consideration.
But, he said, it was a standalone package and had nothing to do with the World Trade Organisation (WTO) multilateral trade talks.
He was speaking after the release of the World Trade and Development Report 2007 here yesterday, which espouses solidarity among developing countries through South-South cooperation (SSC).
