Guinea strike to end Mon or Tues -union official

CONAKRY, Feb 25 (Reuters) A two-week-old general strike in Guinea will be lifted tomorrow or Tuesday after President Lansana Conte agreed to choose a new prime minister from a list proposed by opponents, a union negotiator said today.

''The strike will be lifted. It's a question of discussing whether this will be tomorrow or Tuesday,'' Ousmane Souare said.
