Brussels airport reopens after bomb alert
BRUSSELS, Feb 23 (Reuters) Brussels airport closed its doors for almost two hours this evening after a bomb threat, the airport said.
''The alert has proven to be a false alarm. It's all over,'' an airport spokesman said.
A telephone warning came in shortly before 7 p.m. (2330 hrs IST), according to police, who promptly evacuated both the arrivals and departures areas and carried out a search.
Planes continued to arrive, although passengers were not allowed into the halls. About 20 outbound flights were delayed, the airport spokesman said.
