BJP leader lambasts UPA government
Darbhanga, Feb 24 (UNI) Cricketer-turned politician Kirti Azad today came down heavily on the UPA government at the Centre for its alleged failure to arrest soaring prices and curb terrorism.
Talking to newsmen here, the former BJP MP said the UPA government was pursuing a policy of appeasement to remain in the good books of minorities.
He questioned how a government could remain callous when prices of essential commodities were sky-rocketing.
Mr Azad also accused the government for the ill-treatment metted out to Bihari labourers in Asom, inhuman approach towards the Madheshias in Nepal and the volatile situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
