Two Pakistani militants shot dead

Jammu, Feb 23 (UNI) Security forces today gunned down two Pakistani militants, while an army jawan was seriously injured in an encounter at the general area of Thanamandi in Rajouri district.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rajouri, Farooq Khan told UNI that acting on a tip-off, the army and Jammu and Kashmir police in a joint operation gunned down two Pakistani militants. An army jawan was also wounded in the encounter.

The identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
