Tax officer arrested while accepting bribe

Gaya, Feb 23 (UNI) Bihar vigilance sleuths today arrested assistant commercial tax commissioner Kapildev Singh while accepting bribe of Rs 6,500 from a businessman.

Official sources said the police conducted an operation to arrest the tax officer red handed.

Meanwhile, a report from Samastipur said a clerk in the electricity department was also today arrested today under similar circumstances.
