Tags, restricted platform entry on Thar Express

Jaipur, Feb 23: In the wake of devastating bombings on Samjhauta Express, unprecedented security measures were put in place on Thar Express, which connects India and Pakistan on the Rajasthan border.

The train is scheduled to depart after midnight from Jodhpur.

Measures like luggage tags, travel permission to only those who have confirmed tickets, restricted platform entry and patrolling of the tracks have been introduced on the train connecting Monabao and Khokrapar.
