High-level delegation from EAC countries calls on Prem Singh

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) A high-level delegation of the East African Community, comprising Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, today called on Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Prem Singh in the Delhi Assembly.

The 20-member delegation visited the historic building of Old Secretariat, where the Central Legislative Assembly (now Parliament) used to house.

The delegation, which is on a tour to India to study and visit the heritage sites built during the British rule, included the first Dy Prime Minister of Uganda Eriya Kategaya, Dy Minister Rwanda Rosemary Museminari and High Commissioner of Tanzania Eva Lilian Nzaro.

Senior officers of the Legislative Asembly including Assembly secretariat Siddhartha Rao were also present.
