12 hour general strike affects life in Manipur

Imphal, Feb 23: A 12-hour bandh called by the Joint Action Committee over the death of a pregnant woman M.Sangkhu at RIMS, Imphal on February 19, affected life today.

However, polling to twelve assembly constituenices, was not affected by the strike, election officials said.

Director of RIMS, Professor L.Fimate said a committee was set up to probe into the death.
