Delphi, Xenox Technologies tie-up

Chennai, Feb 23 (UNI) Leading auto component manufacturer Delphi Corporation has planned to enter into the Indian in-car entertainment and safety product markets with a host of new components.

The distribution of these new products will be undertaken in India by Xenox Technologies Limited, one of the leading automotive accessories distributor, an official release said here today.

Commenting on Delphi's latest foray, its company managing director Rajiv Arora said "Delphi has launched its X-Line radios in India in Sync with the launch in Europe".

"The new X-family offers state-of-the-art technology, extravagant design and the right product for all the tastes and budgets", he said adding "as a central design element, the 'X', is the guiding theme rinning through all the units in the new Delphi Grundig car audio family".

According to the specifications, the Delphi Grundig X250 MP3 is a CD/MP3 player with AUX-IN interface allowing easy connectivity to external audio players like an iPod.

The X330SD offers more connection possiblities. With the addition of a USB port, an iPod can be controlled from the car audio system, and an SD card slot provides the option to listen to more MP3 files while travelling.

The top of the line model X350 BT, incorporates additional integrated Bluetooth receiver and microphone, allowing hands free phoning and voice commands The X250, X330 and X350 were available at Rs 7,890, Rs 8,990 and Rs 15,990 respectively.
