CBI arrests IT official on corruption charges

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (UNI) The Sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today arrested an Income Tax official of the city on bribery charges.

The accused N Rambabu, an Assistant of the Income Tax Deparatment in the city was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe for processing the IT Return claims, a release said here.

A case had been registered and investigation was underway.
