Capital punishment awarded for murder

Patna, Feb 23(UNI) A sessions court of Patna today awarded capital punishment to a convict in a case of murdering three persons at Bakri bazar under Kotwali police station in 2002.

Additional distict and sessions judge Ram Pravesh Sharma pronounced the judgement to hang the accused Sanaullah Khan till death while another accused Mohammad Hamid was aquitted for want of evidence.

The convict hails from Baikunthapur police station area of Gopalganj district.

The convict committed the tipple murder of Ravindra Prasad, Sony Kumar and Arvind Kumar with shrp weapons, the court found during the trial.
