Lucknow, Feb 23 (UNI) The BSP today filed an application before Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha speaker Mata Prasad Pandey, urging him to furnish a fresh list of members before the assembly meets on February 26, the day when the Samajwadi Party government is due to its majority.

Swami Parsad Maurya, the BSP legislature party leader, gave the application here.

The application of Mayawati-led BSP reiterated its earlier petition to disqualify four of its members, Kuldeep Singh Sengar, Bhupendra Singh, Kapli Dev Singh and Satto Devi, from voting on the confidence vote on February 26.

These BSP members had voted in favour of the Mulayam Singh Yadav government on the confidence vote last time.

The BSP asked the speaker to clarify the status of the members' list after the Supreme Court had disqualified 13 members, who had defected from BSP to SP in 2003.
