Gandhinagar, Feb 22 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the alleged vilification and ''harassment'' of E-TV and Enadu group and its owner Ramoji Rao by the Andhra Pradesh government.

In an official release, Mr Modi said that such action showed the mentality of Congress rule that the nation witnessed during the dark days of emergency.

''Enadu Group and its owner are fearlessly exposing the wrongdoings of the present Congress-rule in Andhra Pradesh and entire democratic spirited people should stand together and thwart the effort of the state government to subjugate the media,'' Mr Modi said in a release.
