Businessman looted by dacoits

Koderma, Feb 22 (UNI) Armed miscreants looted property worth Rs one lakh from a businessman in Jharkhand's Koderma district last night, police said today.

Superintendent of Police T Kandaswami said about six miscreants entered the house of Sanjeev Verma in Jhumri Tillaya area and looted the cash and jewellery.

Miscreants also manhandled Mr Verma and his mother who were admitted to a private clinic, the SP added.

Police said business rivalry was likely to be the reason behind the incident.
