Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) Advocate Sushah Kunjuraman today filed an application before the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission, stating that the alleged beer can killer Ravindra Kanthrulu was innocent and was falsely implicated in the case by the city police.

Mr Kunjuraman said the investigating agency was playing with the life of a human being by repeatedly subjecting him to 'narco- analysis, brain mapping and polygraph tests. These tests were dangerous for human being as there were possibilities of grave 'side-affects', he added.

''The investigating team is fully aware that there is no one to support or help Kanthrulu, so they are treating him like an animal and torturing him mentally and physically till he agrees to all the serial killings,'' he alleged.

Mr Kunjuraman also pointed out that 46 residents of Dhobhi talao in South Mumbai had already written a letter to the Commissioner of Polilce on January 26, this year stating the accused was innocent and had nothing to do with the serial killings and requested to look into the matter and provide justice.

He prayed to the Commission to provide justice to Kanthrulu and issue appropriate directives to the Maharashtra Government in this regard.
