Three govt employees arrested for accepting bribe
Patna, Feb 21 (UNI) Sleuths of state vigilance bureau today arrested three government employees at different places for accepting illegal gratification.
Additional director general of state vigilance bureau Neelmani said that one Shakeel Ahmad of Bihar state Madarsa Board was arrested while he was receiving Rs 7000 from a teacher Jamaluddin to extend favour to him in salary arrear payment.
In another case in Vaishali, a rural bank employee Lakshmeshwar Prasad was arrested for accepting Rs 4000 from a farmer to prepare credit card. A field officer of the same bank Umesh Kumar Singh was nabbed when was receiving Rs 4000 from a villager for verification of his credit card.
All the arrested employees would produced before the special vigilance court in Patna tomorrow.
